PushSlayer
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 27, 2026
PushSlayer is built with a privacy-first approach and uses Supabase for account authentication and back-end data storage. Information may be stored on your device and in Supabase so we can provide gameplay progress, account features, subscriptions, support, and app improvement across supported iOS and Android devices. Focus Shield uses Apple's Family Controls (Screen Time) framework on your device.
1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PushSlayer collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use our website, mobile app, and related services. By using PushSlayer, you acknowledge the practices described here.
2. Information we store
PushSlayer may store gameplay and workout-related data such as completed sessions, rep and hold-second counts, XP, level progress, streaks, trophies, relics, mission runs, rival match runs, settings, account identifiers, and subscription status. This information may be stored locally on your device and in Supabase-backed systems.
Some information is kept locally to support app performance, and account-related information is stored remotely to support required sign-in, syncing, billing validation, support, security, and service continuity.
3. Camera, face, and motion processing
PushSlayer may request access to your device camera for several on-device features: push-up, squat, and plank pose tracking during boss battles; face-controlled game modes (Arcade infinite run, Rival Match, and Focus Game Missions); and nose-position tracking for the face-controlled games. All camera processing is performed in real time on your device.
- We do not record, store, or upload video or camera frames for rep counting or face-controlled games.
- We do not store still images of you for rep counting or game modes.
- We do not store or upload face landmarks, pose landmarks, or avatar URIs.
- We do not use your video or images to train the rep-counting or game features.
- We do not sell or rent camera data.
- We do not use your camera for advertising purposes.
Rep counting and face/nose tracking rely on transient camera input only. If you decline camera access, you may log reps manually with the in-app +1 Rep control (combat only; face-controlled game modes require the camera). If a future feature allows you to save or share media, that feature will be optional and described in the app before use.
4. Family Controls (Screen Time) for Focus Shield
Focus Shield uses Apple's Family Controls (Screen Time) framework to overlay a shield on apps you choose to block. PushSlayer does not choose which apps to block - you do, via the system Family Activity picker. Family Controls authorization is optional and skippable; the core game remains usable without it. PushSlayer does not receive a list of which apps you block beyond what is required to apply and remove the shield on your device.
5. Information we may collect from third-party integrations
Some features may rely on service providers. Depending on the features you use, limited account or transaction information may be processed by third parties.
- Supabase and supported authentication providers (Apple and Google) may process your email address, account identifier, and login metadata so you can sign in and use PushSlayer.
- Subscription and purchase management providers such as Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat may process purchase status, receipt data, subscription identifiers, and basic device or app identifiers required to validate access.
- PostHog may process product interaction events and coarse workout or battle metrics to help us improve PushSlayer. PostHog does not receive camera frames, face or pose landmarks, photos, avatar URIs, raw authentication tokens, or advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking. The only game-mode analytics event is
focus_unlock_method(train | game | coin), fired only after a successful Usage Budget activation. - Hosting, crash reporting, or customer support providers may process limited technical data such as app version, device type, diagnostic events, and support communications.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review them before using those features.
6. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve PushSlayer.
- Enable required sign-in, purchases, syncing, and subscription access.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot technical issues.

7. Legal bases and disclosures
When applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to:
- perform our contract with you and deliver the service you request;
- pursue legitimate interests such as app security, fraud prevention, and product improvement;
- comply with legal obligations; or
- act on your consent where consent is required.
We may disclose information only when reasonably necessary to:
- service providers acting on our behalf;
- complete or validate transactions you request;
- protect rights, safety, and security; or
- comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government request.
8. No sale of personal information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your local workout history with data brokers or advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Data retention
Information stored on your device remains there until you delete it, remove the app, or clear device storage. Information stored in Supabase-backed systems may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, support syncing and billing, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of certain personal information that we control.

11. Children's privacy
PushSlayer is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through account-backed features. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. International use
Because PushSlayer uses account-backed services, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use reasonable steps to protect information transferred across borders.
